Michelle Williams For Louis Vuitton Dawsons Creek Star Models For Fall Campaign All eyes are on The Great Gatsby star, as she stuns in the latest Louis Vuitton campaign. The actress is debuting some new designs and one of her sexiest looks yet! The campaign, due to launch in September, captures the blonde beauty looking extremely high-fashion and chic, sporting a spiked pixie and dramatic red lip. The ad, which has a very punk couture vibe, aims to promote LVs new bags: the W and Capucines. The photographs, shot by Peter Lindbergh, show a completely different side of the big screen starlet, as she dons a black mani and a shoulder-clad dress from the Fall 2013 Collection. We love that shes rocking this edgy look since we didnt get to see Michelle embracing her inner-punk at the 2013 Met Ball. The Oscar-nominated actress looks confident and beautiful as she poses on a gold-detailed trunk with the new French designer goods. We love this look so much that we think Michelle should adopt it as her new signature style! Its one of the few celebrity-featured campaigns where we forgot shes an actress, and instead thought she was a model.
LVMH shares jump as Louis Vuitton calms worries
Though she has a sweet-as-a-button appeal, corsets , metallics and playful hems are all part of her style rotation. Fortunately, it looks like that fearlessness has paid off with a new gig as the face of Louis Vuitton . The actress stars in the fashion house’s autumn/winter 2013-14 campaign, which focuses on two new handbags, the W and the Capucines. Sporting wine-colored lips, dark brows and her signature cropped haircut, Williams looks particularly edgy in the Peter Lindbergh-lensed shots wearing clothing from the fall collection. It’s certainly a far cry from the young girl we met on “Dawson’s Creek.” Of course, this announcement isn’t too surprising — remember how great Williams looked in her show-stopping Louis Vuitton gown at the 2012 Oscars? This partnership is also particularly noteworthy, since it marks the star’s very first major fashion campaign. (Williams did star in the Band of Outsiders lookbook back in 2012, though.) You can catch her new Louis Vuitton ads in Marie Claire France on Aug. 2 or wait until they hit September and October fashion magazines Stateside. Do you think these shots prove that Williams has global style star potential?

RELIEF Sales growth at LVMH’s fashion and leather goods division, of which Louis Vuitton makes up 75 percent of sales, doubled in the second quarter to 6 percent from 3 percent in the previous three months on a like-for-like basis. “It is a relief that there is an improvement in the second quarter and that the margin (at LV) stopped deteriorating,” said Zurich-based Andrea Gerst, who helps run the Julius Baer Luxury Brands fund with 417 million euros ($551.92 million)under management. Referring to Louis Vuitton’s performance regionally, Guiony said trading in Asia was “flattish,” in the United States “in the mid-single digits” while in Japan and Europe, it was “a bit higher or a bit lower than double digit.” Guiony added that the bulk of Chinese demand today was from tourists and estimated overall Chinese demand for the brand to be in “mid-single digits” terms. Analysts estimate that growth in the global luxury goods industry will slow down to around 6-8 percent in 2012, or about twice the level of global GDP growth depending on estimates, compared with 10 percent growth last year. Luxury investors and analysts said they expected trading to continue to improve in the second half of the year, partly thanks to the return of Chinese customers, the world’s biggest buyers of luxury goods. “We expect a slow but steady recovery of Chinese luxury demand because of the underlying appetite for luxury and wealth creation continuing,” Gerst said. In the past year, China’s luxury market, which had been the industry main growth driver, was hit by a slower economy and the government’s crackdown on the country’s tradition of gift-giving to facilitate transactions and deals. LVMH rival Kering on said on Thursday the slowdown continued in China but earlier this week Swatch Group (UHR.VX), the world’s biggest watch maker, said it expected Chinese demand to improve in the second half. Before Friday’s rise, shares in LVMH were down 6 percent since January, making them the second-worst performers on the Paris CAC 40 index .FCHI of blue-chips and the worst performing European luxury stock overall. By comparison, shares in peers such as Kering (PRTP.PA), previously known as PPR, have gained 28 percent since January while shares in Bruno Cucinelli (BCU.MI) and Salvatore Ferragamo (SFER.MI) have risen more than 50 percent.
Quite the man bag! Justin Theroux totes a large Louis Vuitton duffel as he struts through the Big Apple in skinny jeans and motorcycle boots
And Justin Theroux demonstrated just why he’s so good at cuckolding his opponents onscreen as he showed off both his good taste and his incredibly muscular physique for an afternoon stroll in New York, on Tuesday. The 41-year-old carried a Louis Vuitton duffel in his right hand and the physical strain of the endeavour made the corded tendons and veins of his well-toned arms stand out impressively, displaying the lean condition of his vegetarian’s body. Keeping fit: Justin Theroux carried a leather duffel bag as he showed off his muscular arms in New York, on Tuesday The high end travel bag, made of rich brown and tan leather, appeared to be quite weighted down, as the clearly fit actor seemed to have trouble lugging it down the street. ‘It’s a scary thing to revisit those things underneath’: Lady Gaga looks unrecognisable as she posts make-up free snap In keeping with his fashionable luggage, Justin sported freshly polished motorcycle boots along with dark skinny jeans. Topping his getup was a light blue T-shirt as he wore tough guy aviator sunglasses and a New York Yankees cap. He’s so vein! Justin’s forearms were corded with vascular effort as he carried a knapsack and his LV bag Contemplative mood: The 41-year-old cut a thoughtful figure as he walked alone in the city streets Slung over Louis Vuitton Purses his shoulder was a knapsack and an army green jacket as his wrist displayed an expensive looking watch. The nephew of famed travel writer Paul Theroux looked to be embarking on a mini sojourn of his own as he was loaded down with his pricey baggage. But he is most likely staying put, as his preferred city of residence is New York and his fiancee Jennifer Aniston, 44, is also currently filming the comedy Squirrel To The Nuts with Owen Wilson and Cybil Shepherd in the world-renowned metropolis. Sports fan: The actor wore a New York Yankees cap as he strolled solo Theroux co-starred with his bride-to-be in Wanderlust just last year and has his own HBO pilot The Leftovers debuting sometime in 2014.

Michelle Williams is a Stunner in These New Louis Vuitton Ads
“With this new store we would like to take a step further and provide adapted shopping experience and service for our sophisticated clientele,” Philippe Fortunato, president of Louis Vuitton China, says in a statement. Last year, in the annual China Luxury Study conducted by Bain, the French label fell to second place among Chinese women’s “most desired luxury brands” after being in the top spot the previous two surveys. Among Chinese men, it remained in first place. In the second World Luxury Index China released last month, the brand dropped to No 2 among the most sought-after fashion brands in the country. “Louis Vuitton has been pushing very hard in the Chinese market, suffering from saturation,” says David Sadigh, founder and CEO of Digital Luxury Group, the firm that conducted the report.
